Just go to Ruins of Andorhal and you'll find enough of undead to grind. Avoid Searing Ghouls though, these guys are a pain in the ass.

Ironjaw Basilisks in Stranglethorn Vale

Ironjaw Basilisks drop:
1.Large Basalisk Tail
2.Basalisk Heart
3.Wicked Claw
4.Squishy Basalisk Eye

..and can be skinned for:
1.Thick leather
2.Heavy Leather
3.Thick Hide
4.Heavy Hide

As you can see it's nothing special, but there is a lot of basiliks in the cave and you can make nice amounts of gold by farming and skinning until your backbag's full of these items.

Frostmaul Giants (level 55-60 elites) in Winterspring have about 2% drop rate for Recipe: Greater Frost Protection Potion. The median price for this recipe is 60 gold so they are well worth farming for. On some servers it sells for much higher prices so you'll better check your Auction House for going prices on this item. The giants are level 55-60 elites so it sure won't hurt to be a Hunter or a Warlock when trying to solo them.

Mature Blue Dragon Sinew

The Cobalt dragons (level 52-58 elites) in this area drop Mature Blue Dragon Sinew which Hunters can turn in for a quest to get Ancient Sinew Wrapped Lamina. This is a great quiver and that's why Mature Blue Dragon Sinew sells for hundreds of gold. The drop rate for this item is only 0.1% but once you get the lucky drop you'll be rewarded well.

Recipe: Greater Arcane Protection Potion

Cobalt Mageweavers (level 52-58 elites) on the same area have a 2% drop rate for Recipe: Greater Arcane Protection Potion. Guilds need this potion for AQ so you'll be able to sell it for a nice amount of gold if you find the right buyer.

Decaying Horrors and Rotting Behemoths have about 1% drop rate for the recipe. You can farm them near and inside the cave in eastern part of the Western Plaguelands. These units normal level 53-57 mobs so you should have no problem killing them.

Burning Crusade: Jewelcrafting

There is probably going to be a lot of excitement over the new profession and tons of people are going to be practicing so don't think as a way to get rich in Burning Crusade. A better way to earn gold would be to sell Jewelcrafting materials to all the people wanting to learn Jewelcrafting very quickly.

Watch For Trades While Questing/Grinding

How to trade while questing:

1. Have an alt character in the city you want to trade in. This character will handle the trades.

2. Create a new chat window and join the trade channel of the city you want to trade in. For example: "Trade - Orgrimmar"

3. Now you can do what ever you want. Go questing, grinding mobs or what ever. Keep an eye on the trade channel for good deals.

4. Found something being sold for a good price? Now just switch to your alt character, go buy the item and mail it to where ever you need it.

Remember to use Auctioneer so that you'll have a better grasp on prices of the different items people are selling on the trade channels.
